Riot Games is one of the world’s largest game developers and is responsible for one of the most known computer game of all time: League of Legends. Around 100 million people watched the World Championships in the game in 2019. The company is valued at 3,200 billion ISK.
Riot Games’ MSI tournament in League of Legends will be held in Iceland in May 2021. As a part of that tournament, IGI, RÍSÍ and Akademias want to offer educational meetings free of charge. The agenda is the evolution of Riot Games in the last few years, with a focus on both the business matters and the gaming sector.
“What can we learn from Riot Games” is a series of four 90–120-minute meetings, which will be held once a week during the 12th of May till the 27th of May 2021.
